bioGiulia Siviero was born in Italy in 1993 and lives and works in Berlin.
My practice explores abundance and accumulation through installations that combine textiles, objects, and printed matter. Drawing from the spatial logic of marketplaces, I am interested in how materials are organized, stacked, and displayed, forming informal architectures shaped by repetition, compression, and proximity. Working with sourced fabrics, archival materials, and analogue photography, I collect and reconfigure elements through processes of cutting, layering, and suspension. I approach images and objects as material, focusing on their physical presence and the relationships they generate in space. While the origins of these materials vary, similar strategies of arrangement persist across contexts. My work translates these conditions into composed environments, where density is structured rather than chaotic, and excess is transformed into balance.
